BACP Accredited Psychotherapist in Chelmsford
Hello and welcome.
I work as an integrative psychotherapist in Chelmsford and online. I am an accredited member of the BACP, and hold a BACP accredited Post-graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Coaching.
BACP Accreditation dictates a minimum of 3 years client work experience, and over 450 session hours. At the time of writing I’ve worked with clients in over 1,300 session hours.
I am also currently training to become a supervisor, and offer low-cost supervision sessions to qualified therapists.
I believe everyone can benefit from having a space to explore themselves and their life.
We all face challenges, and we all have our own thoughts, relationships, and aspirations.
My sessions give you a place to come each week to talk through, to vent, to feel, and to remember.
I work with people aged 17+, with a focus on therapy for young adults, but have an ability to work with all ages.
I work with clients looking to manage anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship issues, trauma, o.c.d., amongst others.
My Approach
I am trained in integrative therapy, which is a way of working that brings in useful aspects of various approaches - for example CBT and Psychoanalysis.
I work in a proactive way, and integrate using the Personal Consultancy model, which was created to bring aspects of coaching into therapy work.
I believe it is useful to work both on the surface and at depth - at symptoms and relationship dynamics, and also core beliefs and schemas.
“Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren’t always comfortable, but they’re never weakness”
