My name is Elliot. I am an accredited therapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have a level 7 post-graduate diploma in Integrative Counselling and Coaching, and an under-graduate Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
I have volunteered as a listening volunteer for the Samaritans, and throughout experience there, and in working with therapy clients, have developed an understanding of the things we all struggle with in our lives. They are simultaneously very similar, and very different.
Developed through this experience and by my nature I am a calm, level-headed person. I do not like to judge people, because we all have something going on under the surface. We have all come from somewhere.
I bring a younger perspective to therapeutic work - one that is arguably refreshing in the psychotherapy world. Yet, I bring a maturity that acknowledges that age can indeed just be a number, and that what matters more is how we relate to each other, and how we treat each other.
I also work for a local charity providing low-cost therapy sessions for clients.
