Finding Our Fit

An initial appointment is an opportunity for you to share a little about what you might like to bring to our work together.

Before starting work together, you and I can have a conversation about why you’re considering therapy. We do not go into depth and work therapeutically in this initial session, and there is no pressure to share more than you would like. It can:

  1. Give us a sense of what our work might look like,

  2. Touch on what might be the overarching themes covered and explored, and

  3. Let us plan the practicalities of when and how we will work.

Initial appointments are done over the phone, so can be planned more flexibly at a time that fits around you. They typically last around 20 minutes, and give you a chance to see if our work might be a good fit for you.
